March 25th, 2008Here’s some random fashion thoughts from the Style Matters gals.
1. Platform shoes: We like them but men apparently don’t. We have seen several references recently about men complaining that the shoes are too clunky and not sexy. Men still want a stilletto heel. What does your guy think?
2. We continue to be fixated on the whole shaving “the betty” thing. (See entry Brown Betty below.) Women might think that we were the first to totally shave. But women in the Middle Ages shaved completely to avoid lice. Yech! But Middle Aged men still liked pubic hair so women wore pubic wigs call merkins. Merkin could be a good stage name especially for a stripper. How about Kitty Merkin? We heard she is dating Buck Naked.
