I have finally succumbed to Chaco flip flops
June 14th, 2009Evelinda doesn’t do flip flops. She thinks they are sloppy, bad for your feet and unfeminine. I tend to agree, but am tempted to wear them because they are so comfortable, especially when running around town doing boring errands. So when Chaco offered us a pair of their new Chaco Flips for women, she immediately sent away for a pair … for me. The Chaco Flips are supposed to provide arch support, a sculpted heel and a narrow heel riser for a safer, more comfortable walk. Chacos have received the seal of acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association. I can see why. They are very comfy and my feet do feel more supported than the typical flip flop. Plus they are eco-friendly. The EcoTread™ outsole is made from 25% recycled rubber. Price: $55
Only one itty bitty little issue: The inner sole has a bumpy texture. It tickles my feet!
