Just when I finally get an eyebrow shape I like

I admit I obsess about my eyebrows. Are they always plucked, is the shape flattering, is that a stray eyebrow hair that has migrated down to my eyelid? Out, out damn hair! But a new trend is threatening to remove all focus on the eye brow. It’s called … no eyebrows. Yep! Fashion setters in NYC are completely plucking their eye brows or bleaching them white so for all intents and purposes, they disappear. The look is showing up on runways and at hipster bars. The unbrowed think it makes them look asexual and modern. Whatever!
I am still into keeping and tending to my brows. To shape them, I go once a month to have them threaded, not waxed, by Pari over at 5280 Salon in the Happy Canyon Shopping Center on Hampden, 303-504-9444. Threading is an ancient Middle Eastern technique that removes hair quickly and relatively painlessly. I love the shape I get. Try it.
