I don’t get the Olsen Twins

I saw Mary- Kate and Ashley Olsen on ABC’s “Good Morning America” this morning. The two actresses are now calling themselves designers and have created the high-end Elizabeth and James line and the new more affordable Olsenboye junior line of clothing and accessories, available exclusively at J C Penney. This new line is the worst. I shop at Penney both for myself and my teenage daughter and I wouldn’t pay a dime for these derivative and humdrum clothing. Look at the picture. Even these cute, skinny girls look sloppy and dated. I know few teens who would walk down the halls of their high school wearing a pink puffy balloon skirt.
As far as the Elizabeth and James line goes, I tried on a sweater on sale at Nordstrom. I am a size 2/4 and I couldn’t get on the largest size sweater! Too tight everywhere. Who are these self-styled “designers” designing for?
