Tip for improving your beauty sleep
February 5th, 2012Here’s some new research from More magazine on why we might be having difficulty falling asleep. It’s the LED screens on our computers and televsions. Here’s the reason: ” The sleep promoting hormone melatonin is supressedy by light … especially the blue waves given off by LEDs.” The research concluded that the more blue light you are exposed to in the evening, the worse the quality of your sleep. Researchers recommend that you don’t bring laptops to bed and that you turn off the TV 30-60 minutes before bed time. Sounds like its at least worth it to at least try.
